Our puppies are born and stay with us in the bedroom until they are several weeks old. At that time they are in the active part of the house so that they may be socialized. From the first day they are handled and are given new experiences at the opportune points in their development such as "Puppy Culture Development methods", nail trimming, brushing, bathing and crate training. They are introduced to the older dogs, adults and children so that they may become good family members.
Our puppies are sent to their new families with a puppy package which includes a contract, care booklet, initial inoculations & veterinary record, supply of food, herbal supplements, 6 weeks pet care insurance, microchip identification, registration with the Canadian Kennel Club, the present years membership in the Portuguese Water Dog Club of Canada, `Windy Willows' Happy Puppy Training Kit, a blanket and a toy.
We are planning our next litter for the Fall of 2023. We still have some availability on our waiting list.
